This is a page where i talk a bit about music, of course I'm not a professional / music critic, but i like music too and im a listener + explorer, so why not share about what i like and stuff like that? hahaha, so dont take everything here too extremely!
Back to home.
Quite like a lot of other people, I listened to quite a variety of music. I think that the genres of music i tend to think of when I think of 'music i like', would be classical music. That's one of the first that pops in my head when i think o f it. it's hard to describe what exactly is the kind of music i like, since i like light-hearted and fun, lovely songs but there are times where i like darker ones with more seriousness. i guess it really is hard to figure what music i like, but here's some examples that might give an idea.
There's other music too that i like that i have not mentioned here, but these are just a few examples i can think of currently off the top of my head and referring to my playlist. but really, its hard for me to determine what songs i like. i think it might be easier to determine songs that i don't like.
Well if i know what i like, then there's the question, what music do i not like? I think it may depend on the circumstance for example - i don't really listen to much industrial music anymore since i've grown to notice how harsh and negative it can really be listening to it so often. It is still very much subjective and up to others if they enjoy this type of music a lot or not, but i think it's good to have explored into it, and now that i've seen quite a lot and it's become quite overwhelming, it's time to go.
This does not mean that i don't like every kind of negative music i hear now, but it just means that i've become more aware of what i feel negatively impacts myself, and also, i've grown! i am a growing person, and things change gradually over the years, even my music taste. And this industrial music exploration is actually quite recent, it started last year in 2024! during a stressful time, but now,, IM IN ANOTHER STRESSFUL TIME!!! it's just that i much rather listen to something less like industrial based on the negative elements i've encountered in this genre of music.
Nowadays.. i've been getting back into prog rock surprisingly, and it's strange how it all kinda started since i think i got curious about king crimson again, so i was led to brian eno, then i was led to genesis, and then elp and wow there's just a lot. This year has been all over the place, and it's hard to say what kind of music genre era im in now. i would just say, this is my stressful era XD it makes sense!!!
this text is on here, blablablablablabla this text is on the otha side. If i keep writing more, lets see if the text keeps expanding without affecting the other side
"I know what I like (in your wardrobe)" - Genesis I like this song because it's quite cute and whimsical. I like whimsy in songs! And this one's got some. I like the "over the garden wall / two little lovebirds, pfft, cuckoo to you!". It's cute and playful xD and if you watch the live in shepperton studios 1973, you'll see how peter gabriel acts as a lawnmower with the wheat clenched in between his teeth. Funny thing is, I didn't really know if i liked the song or not, but then somehow i guess i listened to it again and i found that i liked it. now i guess i know what i like, and i like what i know. ;] - 27 oct, 2025 peter gabriel onstage, he looks so cool and cutsey x) strawberry switchblade, don't they have such a cool style? "Who knows what love is?" - Strawberry Switchblade I like this song because it's quite sentimental and lovely, while being a little mellow. It has a calm quality about it. The music video sadly was very blurry and i can't seem to find a higher quality version of it on youtube, but i could at least see a bit of the pretty costuming and the nature around them. There was also a televsion performance of this and i like rose's dance moves xD - 27 oct, 2025 "By this river" - Brian Eno This song makes me feel emo. ok brian emo, dont make me feel so sad, this song feels like a sad kind of comfort that makes it quite hard to listen to on repeat often but it really is like a reflection of yearning and sadness when you gaze into it. it almost hurts to really listen to it despite its soft and calming sound. is it because im going through quite a tough time? maybe, but man, it hurts. its a really emotionally stirring one here. - 27 oct, 2025 "Owner of a lonely heart" - Yes I like the cool sample effects in this song and also its kinda catchy, i like this song and 'Roundabout', but i've got to get more into their music to see more of their stuff ;D - 28 oct, 2025 "Cherish (my love)" - illit Currently listening to this, and yes -- i like kpop too xD its a genre i've heard since i was young and though i had my phases, i cant really run away from kpop, and it really its a genre i listen to more often nowadays to balence out the strong negative energies/emotions i've been feeling a lot this year. - 28 oct, 2025 "Who can it be now?" - Men at work Currently listening to this in class (:] i think it sounds quite nice and i can imagine the story. i'm also just feeling the vibe of it rn, not really happy but not really sad either. - 29 oct, 2025 brian eno lookin like a goof over here, what even is he doing, showing off the fabric he found in the clothing shop?? lol strawberry switchblade looking pretty together as always <3 oh gosh, i hope tony banks is ok... them again, i probably should make a whole page for them at this point..XDMusic reviews
